Are you a young poet between the ages of 13-19? Are you interested in finding new ways to be a leader in your community? Apply to be the Loudoun Youth Poet Laureate.
Loudoun Community Press (LCP) announced the launch of the Loudoun County Youth Poet Laureate - a new chapter of the National Youth Poet Laureate Program. Since 2016, National Youth Poet Laureates have performed on some of the nation's largest stages, including the White House and Library of Congress.
The Youth Poet Laureate (YPL) Program is a joint program of Loudoun Community Press and the National Youth Poet Laureate Program (Words, Beats & Life, Inc.), with support from partnering organizations. We identify young poets who are committed to engaging with their communities for positive change and artistic excellence.
