Brett Washington is a Senior Director of Software Engineering at Cvent, an event management software company, based in Tysons Corner, VA. At Cvent, he leads a global development framework group and co-founded the Technology Apprenticeship Program, which offers on-the-job training for individuals coming from non-traditional educational backgrounds. In 2020, he designed and developed the We’ve Been Protesting project, a web based application that illustrates the conection between protests, art and music.
Matthew Monte is
the author of
Network Attacks and Exploitation: A Framework, a cybersecurity text published by Wiley in 2015. He holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Engineering in Computer Science from Cornell University. He participates as an educator and editor for Loudoun Community Press.
Monte teaches writing, literature and film at Marymount University. She holds a Commonwealth of Virginia Postgraduate Professional License in English.
Her teaching background spans elementary school through higher education, as well as adult education. She participates as an educator, graphic designer, photographer, and editor for Loudoun Community Press.
Kim Moehnke grew up in California but has called Loudoun County home for over 20 years. She is the owner of a boutique, french macaron bakery called Pure Love Macaron. She graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology.
